The
planned itinerary for the September two day adventure will take us out
to San Miguel Island. Our (1998)
trip we even made a nice dive to "Boomerang Reef" That place is difficult
to find even with dGPS! 1999
was a royal flush and 2000
was Fantabulous!
Weather permitting we would hope to tackle Richardson's Rock and/orWilson Rock. This will provide excellent opportunities for game (fish and scallops) and all kinds of photogenic sea life. In addition this is the peak of the halibut season and San Miguel is a beautiful spot to search for these tasty bottom dwellers. Overall there will be dives for all skill levels including certain acrobatic divers (see 1998's trip), although, the major pinnacles are considered to be strong intermediate to advanced dives in all but near perfect conditions.
